What if my DC08 Dyson needs Repairs

The DC08 Dyson has a two year warranty if you buy it new. You can call Dyson and get a list of local dealers that can fix your DC08 Dyson. The repair time may be from one day to a week or more depending on how busy that Dyson dealer is with repair work and how well staffed they are.

If you buy a refurbished DC08 Dyson you have a much shorter warranty of six months. If there appears to be anything wrong with your refurbished DC08 Dyson you will want to get it in for repairs before the six month warranty runs out.

After the warranty runs out on your DC08 Dyson you will need to pay for parts and repairs. Repairing of your DC08 Dyson can get expensive depending on the problem. Most Dyson dealers charge relatively high prices for the parts and the labor.

Unfortunately, you are unlikely to be able to find a non Dyson authorized dealer to repair your DC08 Dyson. Most vacuum cleaner dealers that are not authorized Dyson dealers have too much trouble getting Dyson parts and there are other reasons they are unlikely to fix your DC08 Dyson.

Warranty repair is often the main repair income for vacuum cleaner dealers and since they are not authorized Dyson dealers they can't do Dyson warranty repairs. There is very little reason for these vacuum cleaner dealers to bother with out of warranty Dyson repairs.

The best advice I can give is to avoid refurbished DC08 Dyson vacuum cleaners unless the price is very low. It may cost you more in repairs and hassle than the money you saved by not buying a new DC08 Dyson.
